When all else fails, I quilt. I have a small quilt I am making for a sample for the class I will teach in April. Hope you are enjoying your day at home witht he kiddles.
Ernestine, We have 5 inches of snow here on the mountain. Of course, it is beautiful. But, gee whiz..... I'll let you fill in the rest. I'm sure you have your own version of gee whiz.... Have a wonderful quiet day of your own making.
A, I'm glad you found me. The cats are a wonderful study in wonderment. They are litter mates who are as different from one another as they can be and keep us laughing and saying rude things on occassion. I'm off to see what you have to share with the world.
Gilly, When I not quilting you can be sure I'm reading. I just finished reading about King Tut. My all time favorites are mysteries. Books are also my reward for getting various chores done.
Beth, Our cats actually go out in the snow for quick look sees, but finding new places to sleep seems to be one of their serious hobbies. They are certainly good at finding new and different spots and then zonking out.
Welcome to my spot in this virtual world of the internet.
We are each traveling on our personal journey but it is nice to be able to talk and walk together for awhile. If you care to leave a note I will be sure to respond as soon as I can.
This is a place to think out loud, to explore those things that interest me and to ramble on about whatever strikes my fancy at the moment.
I'm in my seventh decade and just delighted to be here. I live in the country just outside a small mountain town in Tennessee. I quilt, I am a Tai Chi player, I sing in our church choir, I am a Hospice volunteer.
I'm blogging to keep up with a couple of my children and their children.

It's awfully beautiful outside at your place today, but I don't blame the curls for wanting to stay inside. What are your plans for the day?

With that amount of snow, the cats have the right idea!!
Good thing you have plenty to occupy yourself with, like quilting - I'm afraid I tuck up and read, reads, read!
Those last two pictures cracked me up. What funny critters--what a lovely snowfall!
