SUNSHINE AND SHADOWS

May your joys be as bright as the morning,
and your sorrows merely be shadows that fade in the sunlight of love.
Irish Blessing
At long last we are seeing the sun, feeling the warmth and watching the shadows move across the yard. For some reason it seems a long time in coming and just wanted to say
Thank you.

what a beautiful spot you have, we still have a lot of snow. Slowly but surly it's melting

It feels so good to see finely defined shadows again. The warmth of the sun and a bright blue sky fills me with energy. We may actually see snow again, we have in the past, but I'm rooting for real spring starting tomorrow.

I too have been stepping a little livelier with the days being longer and the sun being brighter. Blessings to you and yours. Love and Light, Nina P

Yesterday was wonderful. I worked outside all day - made a new nature path in the woods (which I do not need).
Like you - I echo - welcome to the sun.
Have another good day!!

Nina,
This has been a fine early spring day. I return the kind blessing and extend to you and yours bountiful light and sweet love all around you.

Ernestine,
My husband will attest that the more woodland paths the better I like it. You may not need cleared paths, but you will enjoy a little meander out and around I'm sure.
My day has been delightful. Our Quilt Guild had a teacher in from Pennsylvania and we learned some lovely embellishing techniques.

I love the long shadows of Spring and Autumn - they make such lovely patterns on the ground! Yours are beautiful, and the cats are enjoying the sun!

Gilly,
As a child I loved to play with my shadow, dancing and jumping squeezing down and then making shapes. Late afternoon long shadows were interesting and of course the disappearing summer midday phantom was intriguing. All in all I guess I am easy to please when it came to real or imagined playmates.
