Decking the hall

Slowly but surely I bring out the decorations, a little each week. Here I wanted to fill the corner of the dinning room with a little whimsy. The tree limb needed more than just a cartridge as decoration, at least in my eyes.
May your days be merry and bright as we celebrate the wonders of a loving God.

Hello Twain12, Welcome to my little corner of the world. Your profile picture sure looks blustery, I will make a beeline to your place and see where you are.

Cute! Is "a cartridge in a bare tree" intended to be sung to the tune of "a partridge in a pear tree?" lol

If you can come up with enough puns to fit all of the 12 days it might make a interesting display and fun song.
Several years ago at a Master Gardener Christmas party one of the gifts was a pretty flower pot with a little twig with a cartridge hanging in it. It took some time for everyone to figure out what on earth it was supposed to be. It turned out to be a big hit.

I really liked the humor and simplicity of the cartridge in the bare tree...but also the idea of adding a little bit each day.

blessings for a joyful season,

Laura,
I love the feel of decorating slowly, day by day so that the house is not ordinary one day and total festive the next and then once again back to plain and simple all of a sudden.
