AN ECHO OF ANGELS ON HIGH

At last I had an opportunity to photograph clouds called 'mare's tails' at least that is what my Dad always called them. But wait...
as I looked around I was enthralled by an interesting possibility. What to my wondering eyes should I behold, but a gathering of angel whispers that grew

and grew until I thrilled at the possibility of an echo of

angels proclaiming the Wonder and Glory of God.
Oh, my!

I agree, you should have seen it in person. I was so happy that it didn't disappear while I ran for my camera.

Oh, my GOODNESS! You DO have angels flying over your way! Gorgeous sky pics!

It was like all the wisps were rushing to join up into their assigned choir lofts, because in fact there were more than just the one flourish of feather clouds but not close enough together to take in one snapshot. I was impressed by the story that formed in my mind of choir practices all over heaven.

Definitely mares' tails! But angels seems much more likely at this timeof the year!

And what a lovely blue sky! Haven't seen that, with or without assorted clouds, for some time!

Gilly,
I was pretty sure of the 'mare's tails' but there is always that little question when declairing a sure thing. We see that beautiful blue often, although today it is starting off a very gray overcast sort of morning.

Ernestine,
I'm glad I happened to see the one little wisp of cloud out the window and went out to get a better look and then I saw them all about in the sky and ran for the camera. I was delighted.

Margaret, I'm so glad you stopped by to see what I saw. I'm rather proud that I was able to capture the wonder of it all.
